Chapter 2  Getting Started 

This section tells you how to sign on to HP ALLBASE/4GL, how to select
items from menus, and how to insert and edit data in the various screen
fields.

A typical HP ALLBASE/4GL session involves:

   *   Logging in to the MPE/iX system.

   *   Signing on to HP ALLBASE/4GL as a developer and selecting an
       application or version.

   *   Choosing application development facilities from the HP
       ALLBASE/4GL developer menus to create, modify, delete, or run an
       application or its components.

   *   Signing off the system.
