Leaving the Painter 

You can terminate the painter program by pressing the  Exit  function
key.  The system saves the current screen image and then terminates the
painter program.  You cannot exit if the screen contains clashing fields,
or if a manually numbered screen has incorrectly numbered fields.

To abandon the current screen and terminate the painter program, press
the  Abort Painter  function key.  The painter requests you to confirm
the abort.  Enter Y to confirm the abort, or press any other key to
cancel the abort command.
