Chapter 5  System Files 

This chapter provides an overview of the various files used by HP
ALLBASE/4GL, and the MPE/iX account and group structures for these files.

HP ALLBASE/4GL uses the following types of files:

   *   HP ALLBASE/4GL program files.

   *   HP ALLBASE/4GL system files.

   *   HP ALLBASE/SQL database environments.

   *   HP TurboIMAGE/iX databases.

   *   Application data files.

Appendix C contains a more detailed description of the MPE/iX environment
for HP ALLBASE/4GL. Appendix D and Appendix E provide more information
about HP ALLBASE/SQL database environments and HP TurboIMAGE/iX
databases, respectively.
