VIRTUOSO CODE GENERATOR Reference Manual
Using Multiple Processed Macro Files
Up to eleven Processed Macro Files can be specified at generation-time.
The Processed Macro Files are searched for a macro in the order in which
the files are specified. (See Chapter 5 for more information on
specifying Processed Macro Files at generation-time.) If a macro is
found in one file, the remaining files are not searched. In this way you
can define different levels of reusability, such as shop-wide,
application-wide, and project-wide levels. You can also place tested
macros in one file and development macros in another. Thus, there could
be several versions of a single macro available, and the order in which
the Processed Macro Files were searched would determine which version of
the macro was used.
