Introduction to MPE XL for MPE V System Administrators

MPE V/E Features Not Supported 

MPE XL does not use the SYSDUMP utility or the backup commands
:FULLBACKUP and :PARTBACKUP. Additionally, type and subtype
specifications are transparent; the information is supplied automatically
through a device default file and is not displayed during I/O
configuration.

Configuration of an I/O device no longer requires a DRT number.
