Storing Files with Certain File Codes (FCRANGE)
Use the FCRANGE parameter to store files with certain file codes. MPE XL
file codes distinguish different types of files. You can select up to
eight file code ranges to store. For example, files with codes 1100,
1101, and 1102 are HPWORD files. Files with codes 1152 and 1153 are
SLATE files. To store all HPWORD and SLATE files in the LETTERS group of
the PERSONEL account enter:
:FILE T;DEV=TAPE
:STORE @.LETTERS.PERSONEL;*T;FCRANGE=1100/1102,1152/1153
