Clear To End Of Line 

Purpose 

Deletes text to the end of a line.

Default Syntax 

l

Description 

This command deletes all text from the cursor location to the end of the
line.  After the text is deleted, the cursor moves one column to the
left.

Procedure 

To delete text from the cursor location to the end of the line: 

   1.  Move the cursor to the first column of the text you want to
       delete.

   2.  Press the l key.  HP EDIT deletes the text and moves the cursor
       one column to the left.

Example 

To delete everything beginning from the word HERE: 

     Move the cursor here to delete the remaining line.

   1.  Press the l key.  HP EDIT deletes the end of the line as shown:

     Move the cursor_
