Recovery Process From Manager Program
The following diagnostic messages are requests to the Recovery Process
(RP) from the Manager Program (MP).
MESSAGE Identify req. to RP:
ACTIVITY The MP is asking the RP to identify itself.

MESSAGE Unused RP request:
ACTIVITY This message is reserved for later use.

MESSAGE RP open Databases:
ACTIVITY The RP is requested to open databases on the secondary system.

MESSAGE RP shutdown (err):
ACTIVITY The RP encountered errors in opening the databases on the
secondary system and is requested to shut down.

MESSAGE RP STOP (unused):
ACTIVITY This message is not in use as yet.

MESSAGE Request RP status:
ACTIVITY The RP has received a >STATUS request from the MP on the secondary
system.
