Chapter 7 PERIPHERALS HP 795xB Disks are Not Supported on MPE XL by Wendell Griggs Commercial Systems Division The HP7957B, HP7958B and HP7959B disk units are not supported on MPE XL. The Peripheral Support section of the XL 2.05 Communicator contains an article entitled, "5.25 Inch Disks: HP795XB, HP796XB and HPC2280A" announcing support for various 5.25 inch disk units on MPE XL. Included in the announcement were the following disk drive products: HP7957B, HP7958B and HP7959B. These products were inadvertently included in the article. The HP7957B, HP7958B and HP7959B disk units are not supported on MPE XL. Please disregard any references to the HP795XB disk units contained in that article.
