Dictionary/3000 Enhancement by Darab Badiee Cooperative Object Computing Division DBMCAT AND DICTCAT The DICTDBM utility of Dictionary/3000 is now using a new message catalog. This new catalog is called DBMCAT and is used only by the DICTDBM utility. DICTCAT (DICTionary/3000 CATalog), previously the only message catalog for this environment, will continue to be used by the other Dictionary/3000 utilities: * DICTionary DataBase Administration (DICTDBA). * DICTionary DataBase Creation (DICTDBC). * DICTionary DataBase Definition (DICTDBD). * DICTionary DataBase Unload (DICTDBU). * DICTionary DataBase Load (DICTDBL). * DICTionary Vplus Definition extractor (DICTVPD). * DICTionary COBOL Definition Extractor (DICTCDE). * DICTionary Pascal Definition Extractor (DICTPDE). * DICTionary INITialization utility (DICTINIT). The addition of DBMCAT has no effect on the format and the text of Dictionary/3000 messages. DICTDBM messages are documented in "Appendix A" of the Dictionary/3000 Reference Manual (P/N 32244-61000).
