HP ARPA File Transfer Protocol

Software enhancements have been made to the HP ARPA File Transfer
Protocol (FTP) product to provide the MPE XL FTP user with additional
capabilities. These additional capabilities include:
* Multiple Get (MGET): retrieve files from remote system.
* Multiple Put (MPUT): send a set of local files to remote system.
* Multiple Delete (MDELETE): delete multiple files on remote system.
* Toggle case mode (CASE): when case is on, all MPE XL file names
resulting from an MPUT command are forced to lower case.
* Toggle interactive prompting (PROMPT): allow user to selectively
retrieve files during multiple file transfers, and to selectively
delete files during multiple file deletes.
* FTP user command prompting: for every command with a required
parameter, if the required parameter is not supplied the user is
prompted.
* FTP user online help now includes build parms, errors, warnings,
and additional information on FTP commands.
The following commands have also been added to this release of the HP
ARPA File Transfer Protocol:
* BYE synonym for quit
* DISCONNECT synonym for close
* EXIT synonym for quit
* ? synonym for HELP
* RECV synonym for GET
* SEND synonym for PUT
