Chapter 5  Audit File 

The DeskMon audit file (DMAUDIT.DESKMON.HPOFFICE) contains all DeskMon
messages which are reported on the DeskMon system.  DMAUDIT has been set
up so that the DeskMon Administrator can use any HP 3000 text editor or
utility (for example, TDP, Edit/3000, FCOPY, and so on) to view the
contents of the file even while DeskMon is running.


CAUTION  The DMAUDIT file should NEVER be modified by any person or
         process other than the DeskMon program.  If the DMAUDIT file is
         altered while DeskMon is running, DeskMon may abort.
