Deleting Records from a Transaction File or Session Profile File 

From the initial Transaction File Editor screen, press  Edit File.  The
following screen appears:


            

Type the name of the Transaction File or Session Profile file you want to
delete from.  If it is not in the sign on group and account you will have
to give this information too.  Press  Enter Filename.  The first record
in the file appears on your screen.  Use  Prev Record,  Next Record or  
Goto Record to move to the record you want to delete.  When the correct
record is on your screen, press  Delete Record.  The function keys at the
bottom of your screen change.  Press  Delete Complete.  The record is
deleted and the next record in the file is displayed on your screen.  If
you do not want to delete any more records, press  End Of Edit.  The
function keys at the bottom of your screen change.  Press  Save Changes.
To save the changed Transaction File with its original filename just
press  Filename Entered.  To save the changed Transaction File as a new
file, type the name you require before pressing  Filename Entered.
