  • A SAP is a methodology specifically designed to perform a rapid implementation of SAP’s R/3 product
  • Implementation Assistant is a PC-based software tool that ties the methodology to templates and accelerators (question databases, etc)
  • Pre-configured Client is version of the software with parameter tables “pre-set” based upon industry characteristics

• Baan

  • Dynamic Enterprise Modeler (DEM) specifically designed to assist in a rapid implementation of the Baan ERP solution.
  • Provides process modeling in a graphical format that automatically configures some parameter tables
  • Industry specific process models within DEM can serve as a starting point
