Threshold Monitoring Programs

• Threshold monitors are scripts that return a value to the OpenView agent.

• The scripts evaluate a process or resource.

• OpenView can run these scripts at intervals and compare the value returned to a threshold.

• Meeting and/or exceeding the threshold sends a message to the browser.

• Threshold can be descending, ascending, or transition of a value.
