HP OpenView Initiated at Harvard Pilgrim

• The need for an enterprise management tool was a recognized part of the Data Center consolidation.

• A consulting engagement with HP for OpenView took place in the fall of 1998.

• A Consultant was on site for two periods. One of five days followed by a period of eight days a week later.

• HP consulting provided tools in the form of scripts to monitor HP3000 resources.
