  • Import system proc
  • preempt low priority
  • runs until sleeps

• Time Share are time sliced 1/10 sec.

  • Made up of sys&user
  • higher pri proc can preempt

• Round Robin scheduling
• Priorities are recalculated dynamically
• Nice value can be used to adjust priority calculations
• statdeamon recalculates process priorities
