How to implement an Informix package

• Insure the cluster is up and running using the cmviewcl

  • cmruncl -f -v (starts cluster)
  • cmhaltcl -f -v (halts cluster)

• Check the Informix package using cmcheckconf

• Register the package to the cluster using cmapplyconf

• Start the package using cmrunpkg

• Stop the package using cmhaltpkg

• Database maintenance is next...
