Shipping Constraints

In BAAN IVc the only shipping constraint available was "ship complete". Now there are three new shipping constraints:
• Ship and Cancel - Ship a partial quantity and do not generate a back order.
• Release Complete - The system will automatically group order lines with the same delivery date, delivery address, and carrier. All the lines that belong to the group/set will be shipped at the same time.
• Order Complete - No back orders or partial shipments allowed on the entire order.
Inventory Commitment - Inventory can be committed at the time of order entry whether location control is "On" or "Off."
Priority Code - Priority code for orders can be overwritten at the order line level (BAAN IV had priority at the Customer level - only).
