A Crisis Situation

When an organization is faced with adjusting to change, a crisis situation often develops. The Chinese have a revealing way of expressing the word crisis:

The upper character represents DANGER, while the lower character conveys hidden OPPORTUNITY. Managers responsible for implementing changes within their organizations encounter the same options suggested by the Chinese symbols - dangerous negative results or positive new opportunities.
