What happens behind the scenes?
- Sysprep.exe just prepares the machine
- On reboot of duplicated images, new SIDs are generated on the computer
Important Restrictions!
- Mass storage controllers must be identical
- HALs must be identical
- Cannot take an image from an ACPI machine to a non-ACPI machine
- Moving images between different models is dangerous
