When Does Policy Refresh?

• Windows 2000 Professional: Every 90 minutes (with a randomized offset of up to 30 minutes)

• Windows 2000 member servers: Every 90 minutes (with a randomized offset of up to 30 minutes)

• Windows 2000 domain controllers: Every five minutes

• Software installation and folder redirection settings only refresh at startup or logon

• You can configure the other policy types to refresh or not refresh via policy
