Standards Activities

• Initial agreement by ARM Working Group to move ARM 2.0 into multiple standards bodies to cover both the the UNIX and NT communities occurred at CMG’97
• Asking for user and ISV inputs on standards that are important to their companies
• The ARM Working Group formally voted in January to move forward in parallel to introduce the ARM 2.0 API into the DMTF and The Open Group for standardization
• New Working Group-Distributed Application Performance (DAP) formed under DMTF CIM Technical Design Committee 1/98
